The Week That Was And Is – March 31st, 2010

This last week has been really busy, and the upcoming week shows no sign of slowing down. So while I could talk about a lot this week; like how you can cook bacon with a gun, or how this redesign of the Coca-Cola bottle looks like the most amazing midterm project, or how Free lunch at the Facebook offices are back (I wonder if that means the economy is up and running down south), or that this New York bar is planning to set their prices based on a stock-market system, heck, I can keep it local and talk about how Edmonton Journal Bistro writer Liane Faulder isn’t as secure in her age as she might have thought, but I won’t..

What I really want to say, or should I say, ask, is for a suggestion or two as I’ll be on the road hitting both Calgary and Saskatoon over the next week. As two contrasting cities, Calgary as open and easy as Tiger Woods, Saskatoon, the shy wallflower; I’ve run into a small wall trying to discover Saskatoon from a distance. So if there are any places worth going, let me know and I’ll put them on my list. Thanks!
