As much as I like to make elaborate meals, some days it’s all about simplicity. Using a thick slice of freshly baked bread as a base, I combined habanero chili sausages from Irvings Farm Fresh with a tasty pizza sauce and topped it with copious amounts of fresh mozzarella before throwing it under the broiler. Hot, spicy, and oh so delicious.
Oh, and yes, I did cook the meat before topping the sandwich. I’m daring when it comes to doneness, but not that daring.
