I told myself that 2017 was the year I start I podcast. Having never built a podcast, I’m thankful that the internet is full of great information to help you go through the process. So after a few months of reading, listening, and absorbing, I committed to my plan and set out on my mission; introduce the Edmonton community to some of its amazing people, who all share a passion for yoga.
You see, I’m the kind of person who has no problem talking to strangers. Which means that when I visit a yoga studio to practice, you’re likely to spot me near the front talking to people before and after the practice. My general curiosity has allowed me to meet some fantastic teachers and hundreds of inspiring yoga practitioners. I feel all of these relationships leave me inspired, challenged, and enriched and have deepened my connection to Edmonton. Short and sweet of all of this. I was motivated to share these connections with a wider audience through a podcast. Enter, Open Up And Om.
I was hoping to have a couple of episodes up iTunes for the launch, but after screwing up the first episode, I’m making the decision to move forward with just episode 2. I hope you’ll take some time to listen to this project.
Episode 2 is with Michel Theoret, the amazing person behind Empowered Yoga. Michele has more stories than we could possible contain in one episode, which means she’ll be back for another chat in the future. If you know someone, or want to come chat after you listen, send me an email or drop me a line on Instagram.
